Steve was a legend of a friend and podcaster. He was competitive, convincing in his rhetoric, fair, forthcoming, and just an all-around good guy. He was diagnosed with cancer in 2024 and passed away in January 2026, leaving behind his wife Emma. We leave his original bio below in memory of who he was at that time. Miss you man. Steve lives near Edinburgh and is seasoned enough to remember the Barry Sanders era but not old enough to have forgotten the trauma of the Jim Bob Cooter years. He is a feature writer and regular columnist covering the NFC North for the website NFL Scotland. Self-described table tennis maestro. His claim to fame is that he has seen the Lions win a game at Ford Field in the flesh - a rare sight in the last few years!
